Dr Neil Niren: Forget About Acne

Probably there isn’t a person who doesn’t want to have nice and clean face without a trace of any irregularities such as acne. Unfortunately, more and more people are fighting this unpleasant phenomenon, and it doesn’t only affect teenagers, but also adults, especially women, due to certain hormonal disorders. Dr Neil Niren, a certified dermatologist reveals that even the most famous people in the entertainment business have problems with acne, and the best way to remove them is taking care of yourself, which involves several factors.

Besides taking care of your diet, which of course should be filled foods that are rich in vitamins and natural minerals with a very low-fat, you also need to think about your daily face care routine. Proper care of your face includes several steps. First off you need to wash your face at least two times a day, in the morning and in the evening. According to Neil Niren MD washing your face at night, before going to sleep and removing the make-up off your face, is the most important step. Dr Niren recommends always using a soap designed for intimate hygiene, which has a low pH value.

Make sure to frequently wash your hands, because touching your face with hands contaminated with bacteria can cause acne.

Get your hair off your face, because hair can also irritate your skin causing acne. At least once a week make a peeling, which will allow your skin to breathe and get rid of all impurities.

Another method that Neil Niren MD strongly recommends at his blog is using natural resources, such as essential oils, that are much more effective in fighting blemishes than any other products made in laboratory.

Jojoba oil suits all skin types, but it is especially good for acne prone skin, as it contributes to the balance of fat production in the skin, and thus eliminates the possibility of blemishes. Coconut oil is also one of Neil Niren’s favorite skin care products. Not only is it antimicrobial, full of antioxidants, and super moisturizing, it also has been shown to work well for all skin types. And because it improves collagen cross-linking, coconut oil may help improve stretch marks, scars, and fine lines and wrinkles.
